TRAGEDY STRIKES!!!

It's a story of tragedy and untold heartbreak.....the loss of a newly painted model.

I went to visit my college roomate last weekend, and brought this beauty, lots of DE bits and sprues, paint, brushes, and modeling tools with me.  All in a nice little case in my duffle bag.  What happens?  On the way to catch my bus home from NYC, I left my bag, modeling case inside, on the train.  We had to switch trains and I left it on the luggage rack of the NJ Transit.

It's now been a week, with no report of any bag matching the description in the lost and found.  Needless to say, I'm pissed.

And I'm in the middle of finals.  FML.

Dark Eldar Vehicle Upgrades: Are They Worth It?

Well it's been going about the interwebz lately: are dark eldar vehicle upgrades worth it?  Some say that they're filigree and gemstones hung on paper airplanes, while others swear by them as a way to make these tin foil skimmers more survivable.  So, what with this being my personal soap box, I thought I'd throw my thoughts out there.

Doubles. Twice the fun!

So it looks like I'll be competing in a doubles tournament at Battlegrounds in Plainville, MA in January.  As a result, I've come up with a pair of lists that don't require me to buy anything outside the scope of my original plans, more just deciding what to buy first.  This is all subject to change and will of course be updated accordingly depending on what my Blood Angels partner, Angelus Mortifer, decides to field.
